From our Leadership Team
Welcome to Le Chéile Secondary School, Ballincollig and thank you for your interest in our school.
We are a co-educational voluntary Catholic Secondary School operating under the trusteeship of Le Chéile. Le Chéile Secondary School, Ballincollig opened in September 2021, with its first intake of first year students.
Fostering self-esteem and promoting mutual respect are central to our philosophy of education and we take pride in creating a positive, happy atmosphere that is both nurturing and stimulating. Within our school, we have created a great sense of community and a common purpose. We work extremely closely with our parents/guardians to promote and sustain an environment which encourages and stimulates learning. This enables us to provide a learning experience which is enjoyable for every student.
We are committed to embracing new ideas and processes. We are very mindful of current education reform and change and are at the forefront of these developments nationally. As a new school, we are in a privileged position of being able to start at a point where other established secondary schools wish to go. State of the art ICT facilities, modern, interactive teaching methodologies, for example, lend themselves very well to creating a school environment that will cater for students of all abilities and allow them to achieve their own individual potential.
Our website will give you an overview of school life. If you require any further information, please contact us at the school directly. We would be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
