Le Chéile wins at Feis Maitiú!

Feis Maitiú - Kathleen O’Regan Perpetual Trophy recipients 2026! 🏆

A date for the history books - marking the debut competitive performance and the first victory for Le Chéile Choir. The choir, now in its fourth year, has won the Kathleen O’Regan Perpetual Trophy for their performance in the competition of the same name at this year’s Feis Maitiu Corcaigh!

This is a stunning achievement for a choir that began in 2023 with just three members The choir is conducted by Mr. Cillian Brennan, who is joined this year by our co-conductor, Ms. Caoimhe Barry. The adjudicator lauded the balanced sound and polished ensemble singing and awarded the choir the highest mark of all those handed out across three competitions on the day.

We celebrate this incredible milestone and look to the future with the best possible start now proudly stamped on silverware!
