Le Chéile Irish Mathematical Olympiad achievers (IrMO)

Izidora and Jayden MATHS OLYMPIAD achievers

Celebrating Outstanding Success in the Irish Mathematical Olympiad

We are delighted to recognise the exceptional achievements of two of our students who recently excelled in the Irish Mathematical Olympiad programme hosted by University College Cork.

Following their successful qualification for the prestigious Saturday morning Mathematics Enrichment classes in UCC, both students have been developing their advanced problem-solving abilities and exploring abstract mathematical concepts at a very high level.

Fifth Year student Jayden Doyle achieved the distinguished Roll of Honour award after rigorous national testing, placing him among the top 40 Senior Cycle mathematicians in Ireland. As a result of his outstanding performance, Jayden was also invited to attend specialist training sessions in University College Dublin on two occasions, helping prepare Ireland’s top students for international mathematical competitions.

More recently, Izidora Almasi also earned the distinction of Roll of Honour following the Mathematics Enrichment assessment for Junior Cycle students. This achievement places Izidora among the top Junior Cycle mathematicians in the country.

These accomplishments are a tremendous reflection of the students’ dedication, perseverance, and passion for Mathematics, as well as the strong culture of academic excellence within our school community.

Congratulations to both Jayden and Izidora on these fantastic achievements. We are extremely proud of their success and look forward to following their future accomplishments in Mathematics.
